WHOLE EARTH FOUNDATION
INTRODUCTION.
THE WHOLE EARTH FOUNDATION (WEF) is a platform that can use the Whole Earth Access (WEA) platform to connect the general public and infrastructure providers by providing access to a database containing detailed information.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
when we look at the world at large, we see an increasing problem of aging
infrastructure. Unfortunately, service providers manage the infrastructure
assets are not always sufficiently maintained and facilities renew them
manage.
However, most citizens are not fully aware of this situation or the fact that they are will cover these costs in the form of an increased water bill.
Upon examining this matter further, there are two basic characteristics
specifically for public infrastructure it becomes clear:
Unbalanced access to information between service providers and citizens
Lack of general incentives among parties to challenge the status quo
Infrastructure service providers are often managed by public or medium institutions strictly regulated by government agencies; they often lack the incentive to invest resources to incorporate effective and more efficient business practices.
In the other hand, the general public, who are the beneficiaries of this service, have no means of being informed about the status of the infrastructure they are using and has little incentive to ask service providers or participate in activities to help they operate more effectively. This problem must be handled immediately because if not handled, it can cause significant disruption in society and resulted in the loss of many valuables
resource.
SOLUTION
when we solve world-wide problems, we see aging infrastructure problems. Service providers who manage this infrastructure do not always update and update properly managed facilities.
PROBLEM
Unbalanced access to information between service providers and citizens
General incentives among parties to challenge the status quo
APPROACH
Help the database grow, get tokens for your contribution
- What you earn will fluctuate based on whatever you contribute to helping improve infrastructure
- Engage with your community, and collaborate with service providers to build smarter infrastructure
ECOSYSTEM
Whole Earth Access (WEA) consists of the following three main groups:
INFORMATION PROVIDERS
The general public can access the neighborhood database and can also contribute data to get utility tokens.
INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Service providers can take advantage of environmental databases and tools created by third-party developers to increase the efficiency of development projects.
PARTNERS
Partners who can access environmental databases that serve to develop new tools that will later be useful for infrastructure and the environment.
